I really appreciate the hard work your team has put into our ramps for our science project. By doing this you have given us boost in our learning. Also a big thank you to Mr Millward because without you we would have not had the ramps. You took your own precious time to organize this for us.  This ramp has helped the year 7’s and 8’s of Panmure Bridge school a lot as we are learning about science and this has given us a better understanding about our activity.

These ramps have shown us that height and length is better, that it goes further than short and low ramps. Us as the year 8's and 7’s would like to say a big thankyou to you guys this wouldn't have happened without you guys.

In the holidays I have been reading a book called Oliver Twist. The author to this magnificent book is Charles Dickens. This book is a biology, it tells the tale of a boy who is Oliver Twist
. 
I would recommend this book to Mengchun. This is because this book has words like extant,concise, refrain and much much more words that I think Mengchun would understand. Also Mengchun always reads a lot of novels and non fiction books so there is a chance she will like this. This book also has a very very good story-line that I think Mengchun would enjoy reading.

Geronimo Stilton

Hi my name is Duffy!

I have read this book called Geronimo Stilton this hotel is haunted, I think that you will like it too. It is about Geronimo Stilton, he is a mouse. In this book he is called upon by a hotel owner because there has been a strange ghost like creature scaring the customers. Geronimo was their first choice because of his investigating skills and the past investigating jobs that have been successful.

When he arrives at the hotel he finds strange clues that bring him to the conclusion that the mysterious creature is not a ghost. Wonder what happens next? You can find this book at the library under STI because the author's last name is Stilton.

Camp Letter

Camp is a good place to be if you are a parent. It will help your family’s chemistry grow and you will be guaranteed a good time. There are many fun activities and it will not be like home where you have nothing to do. There will always be something to do.  

The things you can to are a once in a lifetime experience such as:

• Kayaking
• Highropes
• Raftbuilding
• Archery
• Orienteering

In Kayaking you will have to swerve through the currents of the river by paddling.  The high ropes will help you get through your fears of highs. As you jump from platform to platform way up in the trees.  Raft Building will help you become a handyman. As you try and build a raft to get through a river. Archery is going to help you in natural environments as you shoot targets as Orienteering will do. In Orienteering you will have to make decisions to get from point to point.

Now a days everyone is on their phones and laptops. If you go to camp you will make your relationship grow by a huge mile as you make decisions and work as a group with your family. You will lose many of your haunting fears when you come to camp. There are many people to be friends with and a great time is what you go there for.

So come to camp and make your relationship with nature better. We will promise you a great time and some things you do hear you will never be able to do in the city.

Last week year 8 and 7 went to camp. I had to write a persuasive letter to a perant in why they should go to camp. I also had to write in a show not tell way.

Today Panmure Bridge school went to Point England. We had been learning three songs to greet the Waka that had come all the way from Hawaii. To come to New Zealand  they had to follow the Manaikalani stars. Our cluster is called the Manaiakalani.
