Family ritual

In my family if someone dies we go to Mosque. At Mosque we just pray for them. We also read Quran for them.

It is bad to wear bright clothes. You have to wear black or dark coloured clothes.

The person in charge is the family of the lost one. The food the family cooks is normally rice and chicken.

In PBS today we learned to make a graph. We used how many people are not born in New Zealand.

Poem

I am Tamim.

I wonder if I am what I think I am.

I hear fear.

I see you near.

I want to play.

I am nothing you say.

I pretend to do work.

I feel like i need a meal.

I touch nothing much.

I worry when my eye sight is blurry.

I cry when I say bye.

I understand good and bad.

I say I need a hand.

I dream about ice cream.

I try my best.

I hope I pass the test.

I learned the basics in Maori language.

3d hand

I have been working on this 3d hand. I traced my hand and made the lines a curve so it looks 3d.

Onomatopeia

Zoom! Went the car past me at the race track. It was a super sunny Friday. “It felt like it was going at 100  kilometers per hour”.

Like a pack of wolves, 10 other cars raced past me. After the cars went as fast as light past me, I was cheering for the bright red car.

Thirty minutes later the race still didn’t finish. It felt like a year since I was there. It was lap forty nine and they were nearly finished. The bright red car came 2nd. Bang Boom! Went the fireworks. As they celebrated.

Plagiarism

Plagiarism is when you practice by taking someone else's work or ideas and passing them off as one's own.

Its important because if you're stuck and out of your ideas you can use plagiarism. Plagiarism is mainly used in college. You can get in real big trouble if you copy someone's work.

Good attitude

In room 6 we are learning about attitude. It is impotent to have a good attitude in school. Because everyone will be happy to.

In room 6 we have been learning about confidence. Because people are shy and don't share there work properly.

2015 room 6

In 2015 I am in room 6 and my teacher is Mrs Millword. I think it is going to be a good year. It is sad to be without the year 8's from last year. I am fitting in to my new class room and making new friends. I have come from room 9. I feel like I am going to achieve more in this school. My goal is to get to stage 8 on maths again.
